Hilson's Blood Trip is a fast-paced crime novel about jealousy and murder in which a divorced dad goes off the rails and hires a hitman to kill his ex-wife's new husband. It has been called by crime writer Max Thrax "a delightfully twisted and inventive noir, reminiscent of past masters Thompson, Willeford, and Dan J. Marlowe."
The novel is set partially in the small city of Oylesburg which is a fictionalized location based on Oneonta, NY. This is his first novel.
