CADE and Orinoco Farms & Cattle Products are delighted to invite you to “Fresh Food & Field Notes” a pasture walk, farm demonstration and fundraising event. The day will be filled with learning, networking, food, fun and friends-making on Saturday, September 24 from 11am-4pm at Orinocco Farms: 2227 Turnpike Rd, East Meredith, NY 13757 (Delaware County).
Enjoy a day of -
Learning about grass fed beef production, resilient farm practices, and healthy soils with a pasture walk around the farm
Building your network, connecting with established and beginning farmers, and meeting CADE staff and Board members
Eating Venezuelan style beef barbeque, and catering with food and beverages from other local farms
Making new friends and general merry-making!

Beginning farmers / students under 10 years of operation or someone considering establishing a new farm - free
Established farmers (10+ years in operation) - $15 per person or $30 for a farm family
Everyone else - a recommended donation of $50 per person
The farm is open from 11am to 4pm and the pasture walk runs from 11:30am-1:00pm, after which time the feasting, networking, and socializing will continue through 4pm. Participants who prefer to skip the pasture walk are still welcome to join the food and networking time, running 1:00-4pm.
