Banners Honoring Veterans Going Up in Cherry Valley

Written By The Mountain Eagle on 9/15/24 | 9/15/24

CHERRY VALLEY - The Cherry Valley Banner Project, sponsored by the Whiteman-Hull-Snyder American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1360 with the support and cooperation of the American Legion Post 1360 and the Village of Cherry Valley, has begun hanging banners to honor Veterans who called the Town of Cherry Valley home.

The banner committee, chaired by Deb Whiteman, started distributing flyers on Memorial Day and banners started going up at the end of August.  There are flyers available in most businesses and public locations throughout the village or by contacting Deb directly at whiteman1360@gmail.com.
