GALLUPVILLE — The Gallupville United Methodist Church held its annual Christmas Eve Mass for a “small but mighty” congregation. Pastor Maryellen Moore led the ceremony, which included Christmas Carols performed by neighboring children for parishioners, two of which were dogs Chloe and Hogan. The Greek Revival Church, with its beautiful wood interior and large stained-glass windows, was built in the mid-1840s, with its bell tower later added in 1896. It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 2001.
