Hunter – On Saturday, February 22 at 7:00 PM, Catskill Mountain Foundation, in partnership with the Glimmerglass Festival, presents Opera Favorites: A Glimmerglass 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Doctorow Center for the Arts in Hunter.

Under the direction of Artistic and General Director Rob Ainsley, this thrilling concert will feature opera’s greatest hits, musical theater showstoppers and exclusive highlights from Glimmerglass Festival’s upcoming 50th season. Justin Burgess, baritone, SarahAnn Duffy, mezzo, and Samantha Sosa, soprano, will perform arias from Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, and Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Following intermission, they’ll perform songs by de Falla, Strauss, Grever, Bolcom and Moore, closing the night with songs by Sondheim.
