SHARON SPRINGS — Students at Sharon Springs Central School celebrated the 100th day of school on Thursday February 13th. Second Quarter Standout Students were Maya Korona and Kaylee Crewell. FBLA spaghetti dinner and cake raffle is on Thursday February 27th at 4:30pm to 6:15pm. Fourth graders highlighted the Erie Canal with replicas of their own design. Such as songs, news reports, Legos, and shoebox dioramas. The projects are displayed in the SSCS Elementary wing.
SSCS FBLA members participated in the Albany Regional Competition on February 7th. They received the following awards: 1st place for Public Speaking was Yassmin Issa, 1st place for Impromptu Speaking was Devin Tissiere, 2nd place for Introduction to Decision Making was Kaylee Crewell, and 5th place for Client Services was Clayton Van Pattan.
FBLA members will be competing at the Annual FBLA New York State Conference in Rochester in April!
