Three Andes Residents Arrested on Drug Charges

DELHI – Sheriff Craig DuMond announced the arrest 3 individuals from Andes on drug charges. 

On February 4, 2025, Sheriff’s Deputies, while on patrol in the Village of Delhi, observed a vehicle parked and occupied by an individual known to have an active arrest warrant. 

Upon interdicting, Deputies identified the operator of the vehicle as 37-year-old Elyse Logan of Andes. Following an inquiry with the NYS DMV, Deputies determined that Logan’s privileges to operate a motor vehicle in NYS had been suspended on multiple dates. 

Further investigation showed that one passenger in the vehicle had active arrest warrants, and another was currently on Probation through Delaware County. Deputies conducted a search of their persons and vehicle and upon doing so, Deputies located a quantity of Fentanyl and Buprenorphine. 

Deputies arrested Elyse Logan, age 37 of Andes NY for 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, class A misdemeanors, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree and failure to surrender a revoked or suspended license, both unclassified misdemeanors, and issued a traffic summons of unlicensed operator. 

Nathan Diamond, age 45 of Andes NY was charges for 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, class A misdemeanors.

David Piskacek, age 29 of Andes NY was charged for 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, class A misdemeanors.

Logan, Diamond and Piskacek were all released on appearance tickets and directed to appear at a later date at the Town of Delhi Court.
