MIDDLEBURGH - The most magical night of the year in Middleburgh is coming up this Friday at the annual Miracle on Main Street.
Though bitterly cold weather and low temperatures are forecast for Friday (25-degrees for a high and four-degrees for a low) the streets of Middleburgh will be warm and glowing with the sights, sounds, and feelings of the Christmas season starting at 5:30 and going to 8:30pm.
The evening begins with a community tree lighting on the high school lawn. After that there will be visits with Santa and his Reindeer, a visit from the Grinch, rides on the Candy Cane Train on the high school lawn, student and club performances, caroling Princesses, music, artists, and vendors, museum tours, and special events at the Best House, churches, and the library. In addition, stores and eateries will be open late.
The evening is organized and presented by the Middleburgh Area Business Association.
