SCHOHARIE - Schoharie students spelled their way to success Monday at the annual Schoharie School Spelling Bee.
The top three contestants were:
1st Place–Kieran Florussen–Grade 7
2nd Place–Leah Seamster–Grade 5
3rd Place–Max Rosenthal–Grade 6
The top three contestants from among the 20 student classroom winners who participated were awarded a gift card from the EPTSO. Every contestant was given a certificate of recognition from Scripps National Spelling Bee and the SCS Student Government.
The first place finisher will advance to the Scripps Regional Competition in February! Congratulations to all of the participants.
