NANCY MARIE PAYNE
CELEBRATING AMERICAN VETERANS OF THE 20TH CENTURY
performed at the Gilboa Historical Society

THIS WEEK: Recorded in November, storyteller Nancy Payne told us of three generations of veterans from her family—a grandfather who outlived his own obituary in the Great War; her father who served as a navigator in 35 bomber sorties over Germany in WWII; and her husband who was in the Strategic Air Command during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
