The “Inspiring Senior” Award has been offered since 2010 by Fields of Grace Outreach, a non-profit
youth development organization designed to help inspire and develop the potential of youth in Schoharie
County. Each year applicants are sought from among all the graduating seniors in the county and through
these years over twenty-six graduates have been the recipients of this award.
To apply, the student must be a resident of Schoharie County, a graduating senior attending a Schoharie
County High School or a qualified home-school program and be enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year
undergraduate program for the upcoming fall semester. Winter enrollments must be verified. In the event of
a tie, the Award Committee reserves the right to award two individuals from the same school district, as
well as reserves the right to increase the award amount. Applications can be downloaded from our website:

All applications must be received by May 6, 2021. Winners will be contacted after May 9, 2021. Complete
the application and essay, and be sure to include a photo, and mail to: Fields of Grace Outreach, “Inspiring
