O’Neil Appointed Assistant Director of Workforce Development at C-GCC

Jeanette O'Neil of Catskill, N.Y., has been appointed Assistant Director of Workforce Development for the Columbia-Greene Workforce New York Career Center at Columbia-Greene Community College.

O’Neil has prior experience as an Event Coordinator for Wunderbar Bistro, Consultant for the Rip Van Winkle Brewing Company, and Multimedia Specialist for Columbia Greene Media.

She received her associate’s degree in World Studies from SUNY Orange in 2002, and her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Archeology from the University at Albany in 2005.

In her position, O’Neil is responsible for connecting individuals to job seeking assistance, career planning services, labor market information, training and educational organizations, supportive services, and financial aid possibilities.
