Written By Editor on 10/31/22 | 10/31/22

Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.: Kimberly Hawkey and Evan Jagels

Music on the Delaware welcomes back Kimberly Hawkey to the Walton Theatre Coffeehouse on Sunday, November 20th, 2022, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., upstairs in the Andrea Retz Paternoster Room.  Kimberly will be accompanied by bass player Evan Jagels, also a frequent coffeehouse guest.

Kimberly has performed four times at the Walton Theatre, her voice and storytelling even more enchanting each time. For this show, she will be performing traditional American song, folk, and jazz, inspired by a recent coast-to-coast journey along U.S. Route 66.

Kimberly Hawkey’s artistry transcends time. With immortal songs – jazz, Broadway, folk – and a crystalline voice, she transports audiences into a world of beauty, offering an unforgettable shared experience. Recipient of the Johnny Mercer Award, and a Gold Medalist at the American Traditions Vocal Competition in Savannah, Ga., Kimberly is also a two-time winner of the Cabaret Showdown in NYC. Both solo and with her band, the Swingaroos, she’s honed her skills in performance venues nationwide. Visit kimberlyhawkey.com to explore her music.

The coffeehouse concert is free, with donations gratefully accepted.  Desserts and coffee/tea will be available. This concert will also be available to viewers at home through zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84455407805.  For more information, see www.musiconthedelaware.org.
