GREENE COUNTY SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM

The following is the weekly nutrition menu offered by Greene County Department of Human Services’ Senior Nutrition Program.  Served daily with each meal are: Bread or alternative (roll, bun, etc.) with Promise Spread, and Low-Fat Milk.   Tartar sauce is served with fish meals.  Menu is subject to change based on product availability and circumstance.


The menu for the day will be the meal delivered to all Greene County Department of Human Services’ homebound meal clients.  


All persons, over the age of 60, are eligible to receive a congregate meal.  The Suggested Contribution is $4.00 per meal.  No person will be denied service (homebound or congregate) if they are unable or unwilling to contribute.  

 

Those wishing to receive a meal are required to call the respective location by noon, a day in advance.

THURSDAY: Veal Parmesan, Tossed Salad, Italian Mixed Vegetables, Rotini, and Fresh Fruit

WEDNESDAY:  French Onion Chicken Bake, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli, and Chocolate Chip Cookies


THURSDAY:  Pork Chop w/ Gravy, Applesauce, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, and Fresh Fruit

 

FRIDAY:  Beef & Broccoli, Oriental Mixed Vegetables, White Rice, and Fresh Fruit










May 15 – 19, 2023


MONDAY: Chicken Divan, White Rice, Corn, Stewed Tomatoes, and Tropical Fruit


TUESDAY: Tortellini w/ Sausage, Italian Mixed Vegetables, and Chocolate Mousse w/ Whipped Topping


WEDNESDAY:  Knockwurst w/ Sauerkraut*, Peas, Baked Beans, and Cherry Bars  *Low Sodium Diet Subst: Chicken Cutlet


THURSDAY: Seafood Salad Wrap, Lettuce & Tomato, Coleslaw, and Fresh Fruit
