Cortland, N.Y. The SUNY Cobleskill men’s outdoor track & field team hit the road on Saturday to compete at the 2023 SUNY Cortland Red Dragon Invitational hosted by the Red Dragons at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex. The Fighting Tigers posted a number of solid efforts at the non-scoring qualifying meet featuring teams from all levels of competition and unaffiliated athletes.
The Fighting Tigers were led by first-year jumper/sprinter Jeremy Rosario, Colonie, N.Y., Colonie High School, who won the High Jump by clearing a height of 1.78 meters and by junior distance/mid-distance runner Nick Logan, Queensbury, N.Y., Queensbury High School, who placed 10th in the 1500-Meter Run in 4:03.83 and 12th in the 800-Meter Run in 4:03.83.
The Orange & Black also received an 11th place finish in the 110-Meter Hurdles from first-year multi-event athlete Kameron Cusmano, Oakfield, N.Y., Oakfield-Alabama High School, in a time of 16.75 seconds and a 14th place finish in the 200-Meter Dash from sophomore mutlti- event athlete Michael Masocco, Edan, N.Y., Eden High School, with a time of 23.78 seconds.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday April 15 when they return to Cortland, N.Y. for the 2023 Cortland Upstate Challenge hosted by SUNY Cortland at the college’s SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex beginning at 10:00 a.m.
