Yoga with Eszter Balázs at BUSHEL

Written By The Mountain Eagle on 12/4/23 | 12/4/23

DELHI — From mid-November through mid-December, Bushel is pleased to host twice-weekly yoga classes on Wednesdays 7:30–8:30 am and Sundays 10–11 am, led by visiting Hungarian yoga teacher Eszter Balázs. All sessions take place at Bushel Collective, 106 Main Street, in Delhi. Cost is $15/session. For a full schedule, please visit Bushel’s website here.

The one-hour classes are based in Hatha yoga and incorporate Pranayama breathing and meditation. All levels are welcome. Mats and blocks are available, but feel free to bring your own mat. Of this class, Balázs says, “Hatha means Ha (Sun) and Tha (Moon). The balance between these two energies can help us find our harmony. The combination of yoga poses, Pranayama breathing, and meditation can help practitioners clear the mind, energize the body, and access a powerful inner silence.”

Eszter Balázs has trained in meditation, Hatha yoga, yin yoga and Pranayama in Germany, India and Nepal; after completing her training she has taught internationally, most recently in Corfu, Greece, Copenhagen, and at a trauma healing center in Italy.

BUSHEL is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, volunteer-led, mixed-use space dedicated to art, agriculture, ecology, and action. It is located at 106 Main Street in Delhi. For more information, go to www.bushelcollective.org.
