The Hunter-Tannersville Ski Team hosted their first Giant Slalom race of the year at Hunter Mountain on January 12, 2024. H-T Ski Coach Allison Hyer said, “I’m excited to be back on the hill with the HTC ski team. We’ve got a full roster of kids who already have made great progress with their training and we’re looking forward to an amazing season.”
Margaretville’s Chase Norwick came in first at 28:14 and H-T’s William Schnider came in second at 28:83 in the Varsity Men’s Giant Slalom.
WAJ’s Piper Cohane and Sophia Dyjak came in first (27:32) and second (28:31) respectively in the Women’s Varsity Giant Slalom.
The next competition will be a Slalom race and is scheduled for February 5th at Hunter Mountain.
