Walton – On Saturday afternoon, January 13th, 2024, Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Livingston Manor woman on charges stemming from an Assault that occurred on the night of January 3rd, 2024, in the Town of Walton.
On January 4th, 2024, Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an Assault complaint in the Town of Walton.
Further investigation of the incident revealed that 20-year-old Rebecca R. Stickle of Livingston Manor NY had made verbal threats to a female victim that she would hit her with her vehicle. Stickle then attempted to leave the scene, and subsequently struck the female victim, causing physical injury.
On January 13th, 2024, Delaware County Sheriff Deputies, assisted by New York State Police, Troop F located and arrested Stickle at her residence in Livingston Manor. Stickle was charged with one count of Assault in the Second Degree, a Class C Violent Felony in the New York State Penal Law.
Stickle was processed and later held at the Delaware County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment court.
