Robert Frank Clark, born September 20, 1939, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Jessy Clark. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty Lou Clark, and his children: Iven (Teresa) Clark, Alan (Alicia) Clark, James (Donna) Clark, Penny (Donald) Scully, Kimberly (John) Burdick, Kelly (Ken) Raeder, and Jason (Jennifer) Clark, sisters Ellen Morrell and Charlotte (Bill) Lyons, along with 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Bob started his career by serving his country in the Air Force. Following those eight years of national and international service, he learned many trades serving as a truck driver and working at Medical Coaches, Delhi School, ONC BOCES, Walmart, and many others. Bob had many hobbies and his ‘46 Ford was his favorite. Celebrations with family held a special place in his heart and he was always the life of the party. Family was Bob's biggest priority, and it always came first. He was very well-known in the community for helping others, his witty personality, his inspiration to young people, and supporting his family and friends. Bob had a smile that would light up the room when he walked in and a stern look when you had done something wrong. You always wanted to be on the good side of Bob, and you knew if you weren't. Bob will be missed by many, but the memories will live on forever.
A family gathering was held, and a private burial service will be held later this year.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Heart of Catskills animal shelter in Delhi in the name of Robert F. Clark.
