DELAWARE LEAGUE – League action last Thursday found Charlotte Valley, Stamford/Jefferson and South Kortright picking up league victories . They top league standings, in that order, with a key pairing set for Wednesday between CVCS and SK.
Charlotte Valley defeated Gilboa/Windham 44-22 on Jan. 11.Natalie Amadon led the way with 16 points, Ella Gerster added another 13 in double figures and Brinlee Wright scored nine points. Fore G/W Hannah Tuttle and Ashtyn Hansen each posted seven points on the night.
Stamford/Jefferson defeated Roxbury 61-22 on Jan. 11. McKenna Hoyt poured in 29 points to lead scoring and pulled down 14 rebounds. Ryleigh Goodchild led Roxbury with fie points.
South Kortright got by Hunter-Tannersville 48-22 on Jan. 11. Addy Eckert scored 18 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the Lady Rams. Teammate Carleee Dropp chipped in nine points and six rebounds, while Nora Trimbell added seven points. For H-T, Saleema Paladian, Julia Legg and Angelina Dixon led scoring with six points each.
In action on Friday, the Roxbury Lady Rockets fell to non-league Worcester 41-18. Jacey O'Connell and Kendra Balcom led Roxbury with four points each, as one Worcester play scored her 1000th career point and 200th career three pointer. Hailey Shalor netted seven tres on the night to lead scoring.
In action on Saturday, Cherry Valley-Springfield defeated Charlotte Valley 55-41. Brinlee Wright led Davenport's scoring with 14 points and teammates Ella Gerster and Natalie Amadon added 10 points each in double figures.
