SHARON SPRINGS — The Sharon Springs Fire Department hosted their very successful 30th Steak Dinner Fundraiser at the Firehouse on Beechwood Road in Sharon Springs on Saturday, March 16th at 4:00 PM.
With over 500 tickets sold, the Sharon Springs Firehouse was packed with friends and family from all around! The community support was clear!
While waiting for tables, many participated in the 50/50 raffle which raised even more additional funds and got everyone in the giving spirit. Once called, diners were brought to their table for a delicious steak dinner complete with baked potatoes, salad bar, soup bar, dessert, wine, and beer. The steaks were all cooked to perfection over the Firehouse Fire Pit behind the Sharon Springs Fire Department.
Special guest, Christopher Tague, 102nd District Assemblyman, stopped by too! All enjoyed dinner and a friendly atmosphere. Assemblyman Tague is an active and strong supporter of the Sharon Springs community.
This event was made possible with help from so many, especially the Sharon Springs Fire Department, Sharon Springs Rescue Squad, Ladies Auxiliary, and so many more!
Organizers of this yearly event are continuously grateful for the outpouring efforts of the community. This event could not have been possible without all the volunteers! Another big hit for the Sharon Springs Fire Department!
