Written By The Mountain Eagle on 3/20/24 | 3/20/24

BLOOMVILLE — Sheriff Craig DuMond announced the arrest of a Bloomville man and Andes man on drug charges.

On March 11, 2024, Sheriff’s Deputies assisted NYS Parole Officers with conducting a home visit at the Delaware County homeless shelter in Bloomville. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the parolee was not at the residence and was violating his terms with parole. A vehicle was observed passing by with the parolee inside and a traffic stop was conducted. During the investigation and after utilizing K9 Dexter, the two occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of a quantity of fentanyl. As a result, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 45-year-old Nehamiah Clark of Bloomville and 25-year-old Jordan Clark of Andes for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.

Both individuals were released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Kortright Court at a later date. Deputies were assisted on scene by New York State Parole and the New York State Police.
