The Roxbury Arts Group is thrilled to welcome you to set out for adventure, this Spring Break as you explore fantastical and unknown worlds using imagination, storytelling and improvisation during our Role Playing Camp for young adventurers at Headwaters Arts Center. This week-long camp program will take place at the Headwaters Arts Center at 66 Main St. in Stamford, NY from April 1 – April 5. Join one of our two daily sessions! Session I: ages 7 – 11, 9a – 12p or Session II: ages 12 – 15, 12:30 p – 3:30p. The suggested registration fee for either session is $25 and includes enchanted dice and other magical items and materials required to participate in these epic quests.
Role-playing games (RPG) have grown in popularity over the years, and now their shared storytelling connects people across the globe. This camp will introduce the basics of RPGs to campers so that they have the skills and knowledge to join campaigns in the future!
Led by life-long role-playing gamer Doug Idleman, participants will exercise their imaginations at this week-long camp. Campers will create their own heroes and brave their way through mystical worlds, finding magical items and artifacts, witnessing wonders and battling enemies. Working collaboratively, we’ll dive deep into danger, forge our own enchanted bags of holding and cast spells of power to transform our characters from stat sheets into full color portraits, worthy of their heroic deeds!
Space is limited and the need for heroes is nigh! Register now to help save the known world at Headwaters Arts Center during our Role Playing Adventure Camp. Registration and additional information is available at roxburyartsgroup.org or by calling 607-214-6040.
