Annual Day Celebrated on April 27, 2024

DELHI — The Lost Bookshop is happy to announce our participation in the 11th Anniversary of Independent Bookstore Day!

The Lost Bookshop will celebrate with in-store giveaways (including a year of free audiobooks from our partner libro.fm), a used book sidewalk sale, and the reveal of our limited edition Indie Bookstore Day bookmarks, designed by local young folks. We’ll end the day with a party to celebrate our community from 5 - 6PM.

“The Last Bookshop is thrilled to participate in our first-ever Independent Bookstore Day as a way to celebrate our shop and our beautiful community,” said Emily Helck, owner.

Independent Bookstore Day (Indie Bookstore Day) was established in 2013 to promote, celebrate, and highlight the value of the Independent bookstore community. The day has been observed on the last Saturday of April every year since 2013. This year there are over 900 stores participating across the country.

Independent Bookstore Day is organized by the American Booksellers Association, a national not-for-profit trade organization, that works with booksellers and industry partners to ensure the success and profitability of independently owned book retailers, and to assist in expanding the community of the book.
