Staff Report
MIDDLEBURGH -This year's Middleburgh Heritage Day Concert will be Friday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the M&S Depot at the corner of Wells and Maple Avenues.
The concert will begin at 7 pm. The depot is located at the corner of Wells and Maple avenues in the village. In past years, the concert was held at Timothy Murphy Park on the other side of the creek from the village.
In May, Village Trustee Bob Tinker, who has aided with the rebirth of the Depot since work started about a dozen years ago, said it would be a great place for a concert and that the Depot would be open that evening.
The Catskill Gamblers will play some jaunty tunes off the deck of the historic locale. Make sure to bring your chairs.
In addition, a time capsule buried 26 years ago in the upper Memorial Park will be unearthed and its contents revealed.
