WALTON — Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of a Westtown, NY resident for driving while intoxicated.
On Saturday night, August 10th, 2024, Sheriff’s Deputies observed a vehicle to be traveling above the post speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver of the vehicle was identified as 21-year-old Ty Gale of Westtown, NY.
During the course of the traffic stop Deputies observed Gale appeared to be impaired. Upon completion of the investigation, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested and charged Ty Gale with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving with a .08% or more of Alcohol, both unclassified misdemeanor of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. Gale was issued a Traffic Summons for Speed in Zone, a violation of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Upon completion of arrest processing, Gale was released on traffic summons returnable to the Village of Walton Court at a later date.
