SCHOHARIE — Former acting town supervisor and Mountain Eagle writer Bob Vedder of Schoharie will hold a book signing for his new book “Thoughts to Live By,” which was published just last month.
The signing will take place on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Carrot Barn (Schoharie Valley Farms) in Schoharie from 11 am to 1 pm. Books will be available there for just $6.99. There is also a subscription special in this week’s edition offering a copy of the book, a 13-week subscription to the newspaper, and a $10 gift certificate to the Cobleskill Diner for $10. Please see the front of the special section for more information. Anyone is welcome to purchase the book at the Carrot Barn that day to have it signed or to bring a previously-purchased copy. Bob would be happy to sign your copy, of course at no charge.
Anyone who has questions about how the book came about, Bob would be glad to chat with you and maybe you could enjoy some of the fine food, great fresh-brewed coffee and more at the Carrot Barn.
The book is currently available for sale on Amazon and at 13 local locations and is also available to check out of each library in Schoharie County.
