Farmers, rural landowners, and aspiring agriculturalists are invited to log-into and participate in the relevant break-out sessions and NYS Farm Bureau update at this event. The program is designed to focus on the topics and share resources that are important to the agricultural community in our region, and it is free to farmers! Virtual attendees can participate in two rounds of four concurrent break-out sessions at 10 AM and 11 AM, and a 12:30 PM update on NY State's agricultural legislative issues by the NY State Farm Bureau’s public policy team. The 10:00 AM breakout sessions include: Clean Energy Solutions for Greenhouses & CEAs; Going Green - Renewable Energy Support for NYS Farms; and Value Add & Product Development. The 11:00 AM breakout sessions include: Secure the Future of the Family Farm for Generations to Come; Growing Agritourism – Free Resources to Promote Your Farm; Diversification in Action: Real-Life Success Stories from the Farm; and an opportunity for networking and affinity-group building around Local Ag Issues Roundtables.
