CHERRY VALLEY — In Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School news and updates! Here is a message from the CV-S Superintendent TheriJo Snyder:

“Dear Parents/Caregivers,

The past few months have been busy, and it’s evident that our students have been actively engaged in various activities, showcasing their talents and dedication. From gearing up for January Regents, All-County preparations in chorus and band, participating in basketball at different levels, and getting ready for the upcoming spring musical—our students have truly been making remarkable contributions. As we look ahead to the next few months, let’s hope for

an early spring. Winter has arrived with full force this year, and it seems to be sticking around. Along with the snow, we’ve also seen an increase in sickness within our school community. To help combat this, it’s important that students practice good hygiene—washing hands regularly, coughing

into their elbows, and staying home if they’re not feeling well. Additionally, maintaining a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and getting enough sleep are essential for staying healthy through the winter months. We continue to use ParentSquare as our primary communication tool. If you haven’t signed up for the app yet, I highly recommend doing so—it offers additional ways to stay connected.

Looking forward to seeing you at upcoming school events. Be well!”
