DELHI – Students at Delaware Academy’s high school and middle school heard from representatives of area employers at the annual College & Career Day on Thursday, January 30. High school students also heard from college admissions representatives. The College & Career Day is organized in partnership with DCMO BOCES Career Destinations program. A total of 21 employers and 6 colleges were represented at the event; 10 of the speakers were also Delaware Academy alumni.
Participating in the event were: Coldwell Banker/Timberland Properties, Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Delaware County Court/NYS Court System, District Council 4 Painters & Allied Trades, Springbrook, New York Air National Guard, Bassett Healthcare, Delhi Fire Department, Sportsfield Specialties, Carpenter's Local 277, Welder Jim Martin, New York State Department of Transportation, Delaware County Office of Emergency Services, Nate Lull/WCDO, Chobani, Amphenol Aerospace, Schoolhouse Construction Services LLC, CADI Auxiliary SUNY Delhi, New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services, Watershed Agricultural Corporation and
Alfred State College, Fulton-Montgomery Community College, Hartwick College, SUNY Delhi, SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Oneonta.
