COBLESKILL – Landon Hulslander rushed for two touchdowns and the Cobleskill-Richmondville defense started the game with a special teams score as the Bulldogs defeated Hudson 35-18 on Friday night to remain unbeaten.

The Bulldogs (5-0) set the tone early in the first quarter when Cameron Jackson returned a blocked kick for a touchdown. Cobleskill-Richmondville extended its lead to 21-0 by the third quarter on touchdown runs of 3 yards by Isaiah Butcher and 5 yards by Hulslander.

Hudson (0-4) fought back in the second half, getting on the board with a 66-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. The fourth quarter saw a flurry of scoring, with Hulslander adding a 1-yard touchdown run and Chase Henry scoring from 2 yards out for the Bulldogs. Hudson answered with a fumble return for a touchdown and a late 3-yard rushing touchdown.

Hulslander led the Bulldogs' ground attack with 69 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. Quarterback Cayden Cernauskas completed 12 of 20 passes for 124 yards, with Eli Barr being his primary target, hauling in six receptions for 83 yards. Kicker Eli Barr was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points.

The victory keeps Cobleskill-Richmondville's perfect season intact, while Hudson continues to search for its first win.
