As Veterans Day approaches on November 11th, we prepare to honor the men and women who have served in our armed forces. In our close-knit communities like Sharon, Cobleskill, Schoharie, and more, the significance of this day runs deep. Observing Veterans Day is a heartfelt recognition of the courage, resilience, and commitment that these brave individuals have shown. It’s also a day to come together, reflect, and express gratitude, particularly for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Let Veterans Day continue to serve as a powerful reminder of the cost of freedom and the strength of community.
With lots of resources for Veterans and their families, please check out the November schedule of events provided by the Schoharie County Veterans’ Dwyer Program. There are countless resources available for Veterans! Many of the events provide local social opportunities and others are group activities out of the area! With no pressure or commitment you can join whenever you’d like. This is welcome to all veterans and their families.
