MIDDLEBURGH - Middleburgh village board members got ready for 2026 Monday by making a slew of appointments and designations at their annual re-organizational meeting.

Appointments and designations include:

* Deputy Mayor – Sheryl Adams.

* Commissioner of Water and Sewer – Robert Tinker.

* Commissioner of Parks – Amanda Fernandez and Kevin Young.

* Commissioner of Cemetery – Robert Tinker.

* Commissioner of Public Safety – Amanda Fernandez.

* Commissioner of Highways, Sidewalks and Parking – Sheryl Adams.

* Commissioner of Communications – Timothy Knight.

* Commissioner of Technology – Kevin Young.

* Commissioner of Street Lights – Robert Tinker.

* Deputy Clerk – Alecia Seletsky.

* Collector of Taxes – Rebecca Kelley.

* Clerk/Treasurer – Rebecca Kelley.

* Budget Officer – Timothy Knight, Rebecca Kelley.

* Official Depository – NBT, Bank of Richmondville, National Bank of Coxsackie.

* Village Attorney – Fred Mauhs.

* Village Historian – Steve LaMont, Matthew Avitabile.

* Official Newspaper – The Mountain Eagle.

* Representative to Youth Commission – Amanda Fernandez, Ed McBain and Joe Pack; Timothy Knight (alternate).

* Representative to Grants Committee – Robert Tinker.

* Representative to Zoning Rewrite – Sheryl Adams and Kevin Young.

* Representative to Planning Board – Kevin Young.

* Representative to Historical Society – Robert Tinker.

* Representative to Oktoberfest Association – Timothy Knight and Sheryl Adams.

* Representative to Middleburgh Rotary – Amanda Fernandez.

* Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics – Rebecca Kelley.

* Emergency Management Officers – DPW Superintendent, Fire Chief, Mayor.

* Building Inspector – Frederick “Rick” Fink and Deputy Building Inspector Lloyd Stannard.

* Director of Public Housing – Timothy Knight.

* Fire Department Liaison – Robert Tinker.

* Business and MABA Liaisons – Sheryl Adams and Amanda Fernandez.

* Village Engineer – Delaware Engineering.

* Ethics Committee – Thomas Gruning (Chair), Charles Ingraham, and Theresa Norfolk; Charles Rozumalski (alternate).

* Safety Coordinators – DPW Superintendent Cole Keyser and Deputy DPW Superintendent Mark Czyszczon.

* Safety Committee – Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer, Fire Chief, DPW Superintendent.

* Personnel Committee – Robert Tinker and Sheryl Adams.

* Marriage Officer – Timothy Knight.

The main changes were: Trustee Tinker has been named as a Representative to the Grants Committee and Trustee Fernandez has been named as a Representative to Middleburgh Rotary.
