Flying saucers hovered
as aliens questioned their own
lackadaisical physical exertion.
Their butts resembled Pringles
and their noses Cheetohs.
After millions of miles in the Milky Way
they found a dairy farm
near Delhi, NY.
Dogs barked, cows mooed.
Farm boys threw a round ball
in a hoop.
One kneed another in the groin,
and went in for a lay-up.
The aliens called Next!
Balancing the ball on one of three noses
they played until nightfall;
they popped tabs on a beer to celebrate their win;
and shot back into the inky sky.
