The SUNY Cobleskill men’s soccer team returned to the road on Saturday afternoon dropping a 6-0 decision to the home standing Wildcats of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) match-up. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers are now 2-8 overall including a 1-3 mark in league action while the Wildcats move to 8-1-1 overall with a 4-0-1 record in conference play.
After a scoreless first half the Wildcats used a 23-5 advantage and a 13-1 advantage in corner kicks to score off several set piece opportunities in the second half to secure the victory.
The Orange & Black will next be in action on Tuesday October 5 when they host the Broncos of SUNY Delhi for a NAC contest beginning at 4:00 p.m.
