Canton, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men’s golf team battled wet weather and muddy course conditions a post two-day total of 100-over par 676 to place fifth overall in a field of 11 teams at the 2023 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship Tournament hosted by SUNY Canton over the weekend at the par-72/6569-yard Partridge Run Golf & Country Club.

The Fighting Tigers, who were picked to finish sixth going into the event by the league’s coaches, were led by sophomore Joshua House, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Saratoga Springs High School, who placed 10th overall in the 55-player field shooting round of 75 and 84 to finish the event at 15-over par 159 to earn All-NAC Team honors for the second consecutive season.

Cobleskill also received top-half finishes in the field from senior Sean McMahan, Clifton Park, N.Y., Shenendehowa High School, who fired rounds of 86 and 85 for a tournament total of 27-over par 171 to tie for 23rd overall with his Fighting Tiger teammate junior Leo Rosenstadt, Westchester, N.Y., Scarsdale High School, who record a two-day total of 27-over par 171 with rounds of 88 and 83.
