SK Boys Set To Play Another Delware League Championship

DELAWARE LEAGUE – With the league championship less than a week away and the round robin tournaments this week to determine who meets at SUNY Delhi at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, the standings were pretty well set with the final regular games of the season taking place. South Kortright again clinched first place at 7-0. The big game this week was between Charlotte Valley and Margaretville, set for Wednesday, and results were unavailable at press time.

In action on Monday, Worcester defeated Windham 46-36 in a non-league game.Christian Greene led WAJ with 17 points on the night.

Milford defeated Hunter-Tannersville 73-34 in non-league action on Monday. Grady Glennon and Connor Schiefer each scored 10 points to lead H-T scoring.

Roxbury defeated Gilberstville-Mt. Upton last Friday in non-league action. George Proctor led the way with 30 point and 12 rebound teammate Chris Garafolo had a good night on the board with 14 rebounds for the Rockets.

Schenevus defeated H-T last Thursday. Connor Schiefer led H-T with 13 points and eight rebounds and teammate Tom Houlihan chimed in with another seven points and 10 rebounds.

Sharon Springs defeated Windham 52-41 in non-league action last Friday. Payton Dempsey led WAJ with 15 points.

Margaretville defeated Gilboa 60-25 in a key league game last Friday. Hunter Balcom led the way for the Blue Devils, with 20 points and Connor Wayman chipped in another 17 points to the win. Gilboa was led by Cody Ciaravino's 7 points.

In the game of undefeateds last Friday, SK stayed perfect in league play with an 80-71 win over Charlotte Valley. Connor Quarino led scoring with 39 points on the night and teammate Darren Dengler added nine points, along with Logan Reinshagen and Jacob Staroba's eight points. Charlotte Valley got 25 points from Ezra Ontl and Trevor Waid added another 24 points. Teammates Ethan Barret and Luke Montgomery added seven and six points, respectively. 

In action last Thursday, Cherry-Valley Springfield defeated Gilboa 44-43 in a non-league game. Cody Ciaravino scored 14 points to lead Gilboa and Garisson Ross added eight points in a tough, one-point game.

South Kortright defeated Jefferson/Stamford 75-44 last Wednesday. Connor Quarino led all scoring with 30 points and Boston Quarino chipped in 14 points. J/S was led by Henry Cole's 28-point effort.

Roxbury defeated league rival H-T 51-40 last Wednesday. George Proctor led scoring with 21 points and Mason Hamil chipped in another 13 points in double figures. Grady Glennon led H-t With 11 points, six steals and five assists, while Connor Scheifer added 10 points.
