DELAWARE LEAGUE - Gilboa/Windham stayed on top of Delaware League standings this week, posting a 12-3 victory over Charlotte Valley on Saturday in a non-league pairing, improving to 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in league standings.
David Cammer crossed the plate three times and had a pair of hits and two runs batted in. Teammates Garrison Ross added a pair of hits and two RBI and Jacob Strauch chimed in with two RBI. For Charlotte Valley, Ezra Ontil connected for a pair of hits.
On Monday, Charlotte Valley fell to non-league Afton, 21-0. Afton scored 11 runs in the first inning to coast.
The SK Rms defeated Roxbury 17-5 on Monday in a non-league matchup. Darren Dengler connected on a three-run homer and JB Trimbell added a double and two RBI. For Roxbury, Bryton Bower had a pair of hits, including a double.
Last Wednesday, G/W posted a 7-5 win over South Kortright in a non-league game at SK. Sean Wille picked up the win from the mound after striking out seven SK batters. He helped his cause by scoring three runs. For SK, Logan Reinshagen connected for a pair of RBI.
Laurens/Milford squeezed by Charlotte Valley 9-8 in non-league action last Wednesday. L/M scored one run in the seventh to tip the scale. Trevor Waid led Davenport, scoring with a pair of doubles and struck out 10 L/M batters in the loss.
Edmonton/Morris defeated Roxbury 31-5 in non-league action last Wednesday. Taran Davis, Chris Garofolo and Jordan Johnson all had a hit for Roxbury. Branden Harris was 3 for 4 behind the bat to bring in four runs and Jon Michael Lease was also 3 for 4 there.
Schenevus defeated Jefferson/Stamford 14-7 last Wednesday. An eight-run sixth inning put Schenevus well in the lead. Brandon Harris led J/S with four RBI.
