EAST MEREDITH — La Perla is one of the most exciting projects happening in the Bogotá scene! On May 9th the Colombian trio will open the West Kortright Center’s 49th performance season at 7PM at 49 West Kortright Church Road, East Meredith, New York 13757
. Join us for an evening of bombastic, percussive music and tight vocal harmonies. La Perla is inspired by Caribbean traditional sounds paying homage to their cultural legacies and yet fully representing the new sounds of Colombian music.
La Perla has toured extensively in Latin America, Europe and the U.S. In 2021 they participated in WOMEX, a highly recognized international music fair, with a showcase at the Oporto Coliseum, Portugal.
This is an indoor concert with limited seating; Tickets are $20 in advance general admission, $25 at the door. Members receive a 10% discount, kids 12 and under are 50% off. Visit westkc.org to purchase tickets.
