EAST DURHAM―One of the country’s biggest and longest-running beer festivals has found a new home at Blackthorne Resort.
Slated for June 28-29, the 2025 TAP New York Craft Brew Festival will feature more than 65 of the finest craft brewers from across the state with 150-plus brew options, including craft beer, cider, mead, mixed drinks, sours, and more.
Originally known as the Hudson Valley Beer and Food Festival, the event began in 1998 when more than 100,000 beer lovers converged on the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. Two years later it outgrew the venue and moved to Hunter Mountain where it became TAP New York Craft Brew Festival.
Last year’s festival was to take place at Bethel Woods but ended up being cancelled.
This year, attendees can purchase tickets for either or both days that include continuous four-ounce samples of craft alcoholic beverages, plus endless food samples. Additional food and dessert vendors will be on site along with live music, games and various other vendors. The music lineup is expected to be announced in April.
