Schoharie - Flora Garrett Kenyon, loving wife to Richard Kenyon passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 16th at her home.
Flora graduated from Shaker High School and later, SUNY Albany. She worked as Marketing Director for 30 years at Albany Ladder Co. She also worked as a licensed Realtor for Caldwell Banker and was a licensed aircraft pilot. Flora was a member of many community and civic groups including the Golden Fleece Spinners and Weavers Guild, the local book club, bridge club, and SOS. She enjoyed gardening, artistic endeavors, painting, spinning, weaving, and was an expert knitter and designed many patterns for knitting.
Flora is survived by: her devoted husband, Richard, her brother, Olin & Nancy Garrett, her sister; Launa Garrett and her children; Scott & Jamie Ullery (nephew), Katherine, Rachel & Ethan (grand niece and nephew), Amanda Pangburn (niece), Benjamin & Nathan (grandnephews), her sister; Sandra Dickinson and her daughter; Rebbecca (niece). She is also survived by many cousins whom she enjoyed sharing time with especially Lauren, Leslie, Jeanie Lou, and Lori.
A period of visitation will be held from 1-3 PM on Wednesday, February 26th at the Langan Funeral Home, 327 Main Street Schoharie followed by a time of sharing and special words from family and friends.
