DELAWARE LEAGUE – Gilboa/Roxbury and South Kortright/Andes played to a tie over the week. SK/A defeated H-T later in the week to narrow the teams with no league losses to those two tams. GCR remains undefeated on the season, while SK/A has one loss.
Unadilla Valley/Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton defeated host Stamford/Jefferson 4-3 in a non-league game under the lights at Archibald Field on Monday. Dalton Fernette did most of the damage with a hat trick and teammate Declan Potter chipped in another goal to give UV/GMU the win. Tristen Thomas scored one goal and one assist for J/S while Cameron Tompkins and Charlie Miller added single goals.
Cherry Valley Springfield defeated Margaretville 4-1 in a non-league pairing on Tuesday. Robert Sass scored the lone goal for the Blue Devils.
Gilboa/Roxbury defeated non-league Sidney 7-1 on Tuesday, Roni Grieco scored a hat trick plus two assists while Gavin Bohringer scored one goal and had two assists. Chris Cox, Game Allen and Aiden Ballard added single goals to the win. Cody Ciaravino added an assist.
South Kortright/Andes defeated Hunter-Tannersville 1-0 in Delaware League play on Tuesday. JB Trimbell scored the winning goal unassisted in the opening half. Parker Popp picked up his first shutout as he played in the goal position.
Windham defeated Charlotte Valley 1-0 in a league game on Tuesday Bryce Palumbo scored the lone goal on a penalty kick.
Windham shutout non-league Germantown 2-0 in the opening round of the annual Hunter-Tannersville Booster Club Tourney on Saturday. Jack Pellettier and Payton Dempsey each connected on a goal with Angel Martinez having an assist.
Delhi shutout Margaretville 6-0 in non-league play in Saturday's consolation round of the annual Nelson Tournament, hosted by Margaretville. Benny Schnabel scored a pair of goals and assisted on three others, while Brayden Eckert and Eli Ransford each scored single goals and added one assist each in the win. Cole Vredenburgh and Teddy Kelsh also scored goals.
Morris defeated Margaretville 9-3 in the opening round on Friday. Robert Sass scored all three of Margaretville's goals with assists from Anthony Maggio. Morris advanced to play SS Seward in the championship game on Saturday and take home the title.
Worcester shutout host Charlotte Valley 4-0 in the opening round of the annual Chic Walshe Tournament at CVCS on Saturday. Derek Land scored a pair of goals, while Connor Land and Donald Rundbal each added single goals. The second game was cancelled as Schenevus pulled out of the tournament. SKCS will play Worcester in the title game this Saturday.
In action last Thursday, Windham defeated Jefferson/Stamford 4-3 in a league pairing. WAJ scored three goals in the final 14 minutes to take the win. Bryce Polumbo struck for a pair of goals, while Owen and Jack Pelletier each scored single goals. Payton Dempsey contributed two assists in the win. For J/S, Will Eklund scored one goal and assisted on the other two goals. Jake Mrozik and Caiden Tompkins scored the other two goals.
Hunter-Tannersville shutout Charlotte Valley 3-0 in a non-league meeting last Thursday. Blake Cameron scored a pair of goals and Grady Maul added a single goal for the win. Ian Gilmore had two assists and Rupert Conybeare added one assist.
South Kortright/Andes and Gilboa/Roxbury played to a 3-3 stalemate in league play last Thursday. The Rams came from behind to tie it. GCR owned a 3-0 lead as Chris Cox, Dominic Grieco and Gavin Bohringer all connected on single goals. Cox also added an assist along with Roni Grieco's two assists. Skylar MacIntrye scored two goals and JB Trimbell added one goal and one assist for SK/A.
