WALTON – Music on the Delaware opens its 2026 Spring Coffeehouse at the Walton Theatre series on Sunday, January 18, with a cello/piano duo, Paul Huh and Kent Kim. The concert will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and is free to the public.
Cellist Paul Huh is familiar to our local audience, holding the position of installed pastor of the Walton United Presbyterian Church and having performed in a previous coffeehouse series. Kent Kim is a New York City based composer, music director, and pianist.
The evening’s program will begin with the Brahms Cello Sonata in E minor in all three movements. The second half of the concert will present themes of Broadway musical medleys on cello and keyboard, arranged by Kent Kim.
Paul Huh began playing cello at age 10, majored in music at Wheaton College, and studied for a master’s degree in cello performance at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, CUNY. As a pastor of churches and professor of university and seminary in both Korea and the United States, he performed many cello concerts in academic settings and churches. He holds additional graduate degrees in Church Music from Biola University, Masters in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. in Liturgical Studies from Drew University in New Jersey.
Kent Jeong-Eun Kim holds an MFA from NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, where she composed the full-length musical Out With a Bang.
