Stamford Man Arrested following Domestic

Stamford – On Wednesday evening, January 10th, 2024, Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Stamford man on charges stemming from a Domestic that occurred in the Town of Stamford. 

On January 10th, 2024, at approximately 7:20 PM, Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a Domestic in the Town of Stamford. Deputies interviewed 30-year-old Dillon McDonald, Further investigation of the incident revealed that Dillon had violated an Order of Protection on multiple occasions and that McDonald had damaged property of the protected party of the order of protection.    

Deputies subsequently arrested and charged McDonald with 11 Counts of Criminal Contempt in the second degree a Class A Misdemeanor, 1 Count Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree a Class A Misdemeanor, 1 count Assault in the third degree Class A  Misdemeanor, and 1 count Burglary in the third degree a Class D Felony. 

McDonald was arrested and processed on the charges and held at the Delaware County Correctional Facility to await Centralized Arraignment
