Oneonta Resident Arrested on Warrant

DELHI — Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of an Oneonta male on a Sealed Indictment Arrest Warrant issued by the Delaware County Grand Jury. 

On the morning of April 16th, 2024 members of the Delaware County Criminal Investigations Unit and Road Patrol division, along with members from the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police responded to a residence in the Town of Oneonta in an attempt to locate 41-yr old Gerard F. H. Johnson.

Johnson was subsequently located and arrested within a residence in Lantern Hill Mobile Home Park in the Town of Oneonta.  

Johnson was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd degree, a Class D Felony, 2 counts of Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, a Class E Felony, and 1 count of Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor. 

Johnson was transported directly to the Delaware County Court and was arraigned in front of Honorable J. Hubbard. Upon completion of the arraignment, Johnson was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $30,000.00 cash bail Or $100,000.00 secured bond. Johnson is scheduled to appear in the Delaware County Court at a later date.
